If you are using colored pencil I would sketch you drawing out in regular pencil lightly, color it all in and then add the black pencil over it to finish it. That's how I would do it but you should do some thumbnails and a small test in your sketchbook first to see what works. Good luck and cant wait to see, Becky! :)Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10232634248739745071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4962858048632445110.post-40005818724764154502008-12-08T16:18:00.000-08:002008-12-08T16:18:00.000-08:00Shes cute Michelle! Cant wait to see her colored.By the way. This brings me to a question. As you probably know Im doing a bit of sketching here and there.Id like to know how you color the pic now.I mean you said shes inked and all ready to be colored.Last night In bed I was thinking. How, if you sketch in say black pencil, do you get that soft look of the colors? How would the colored pencils or whatever you use cover up the black of the pencil? Does that make sense?I was thinking about that last night couldnt figure out how it would be done.Care to comment on that for me? I would truly appreciate a response from you.Thanks!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
