BIRTHDAY MERMAID SKETCH

I have been doing lots of sketching this week so for my day of on Saturday I hope to have some stamps ready for you all!! Another sketch that I am really excited about is my new little birthday mermaid!! I have been having so much fun designing birthday images so I hope you will like her as much as I do!!:) I think she will make a really cute stamp!!:)

FIONA - MY LITTLE IRISH LASSIE!:)

I sketched a little Irish Lass this morning and I think Fiona is a really cute name for her! I was inspired by all of the beautiful clover that is out now here in CA since we have had so much rain!! I picked some today on my walk and have it in a little vase on my desk to inspire me for St. Patricks day designs!! I hope you like Wee Fiona!!:)

THREE GRACES SKETCH

Happy Saturday everyone!! I was lucky enough to have a day to my creative self today! It was so nice to sleep in and to sketch and journal and be an artist!!!:)

I have been drawing lots of ballerina's lately and not sure why except I love drawing tutu's! I've always wanted to do a "3 Graces" piece, really for years now. And I finally sketched one with the help of one of my favorite artists, Botticelli!! One of my favorite art books has alot of his paintings and one of them has the 3 graces and I'm always so in love with his goddesses so they certainly inspired me today!!

MOONROSE STAR FAIRY SKETCH

I was flipping thru a magazine yesterday and there was an ad that said, Reach for the Moon, which was part of the caption for this illustration, who I am calling the Moonrose Star fairy! The caption for her will read, Reach for the Moon and stars for they are always within reach!!

When I saw the magazine ad, I knew that this had to be my next stamp project!! I have Saturday off and I know what I will be doing!!! Cant wait to work on her, I think she will make a pretty little stamp!!:)

REFINED FLYING BIRTHDAY GIRL SKETCH

I am having so much fun with this little flying birthday girl this week! I did a little more of a refined sketch and she is ready to be made into a stamp this weekend!! Now that I have Saturdays off, it has become my creative day and I so look forward to it every week!! Cant wait to finish her!!:) Hope you all have a chance to get something creative accomplished this weekend as well!!:)

FLYING BIRTHDAY GIRL SKETCH

I found a tiny little image in one of my sketchbooks this morning that I had totally forgotten about! I love when that happens! I decided to embellish this illustration a bit and add some clouds and a cupcake to it! I think it will make a really cute stamp, I'm excited about this one!! I am loving doing birthday designs and holidays so this will be fun!! Hope you like it!!:)

DOGGIE DAYCARE SKETCHES

My weekend job at the doggie daycare somehow has followed me home! I was sketching over the weekend and drew a couple little doggies that I thought might make cute digis!:) It wasnt very busy yesterday so I had time to sit with my little friends and give them some TLC while they are away from home! Everyone got a turn sitting in my lap even thought there was a little bit of jealousy!!:)

There were so many cute little ones, its no wonder they inspired me!!:) Hope you like Scooter and Woofie!!:)

My Letter is to all of you!! To all of my PCP members who participated in our hop and also to ALL of the members of our PCP and SNR group, to all of the wonderful people, artists and friends who support me and my art everyday!! This is for you!!

Dear Friends,

I am writing my love letter to all of you because I just wanted to share how much your love and support has meant to me as an artist. Without all of you there would be no ME!

Everyday I go online I find a new gift from you whether it be an encouraging email, a comment on my blog about my artwork or a sale at my Etsy shop (a shameless plug!!)
I want you to know how much I appreciate all of these things everyday and all of you who make all of my days here special!! I love that and look forward to each new day beacause of the love I recieve from you all!!

Your support has given me the inspiration to keep moving and keep creating. It is so important for us artists to hear that we are creating something that other people appreciate. My goal as an artist is to inspire and to make people happy with my art and I hope to keep doing that. With your love and support it has been easy!!

MARY MARY QUITE CONTRARY SKETCH

I had a day off on Saturday and was sketching like a maniac! I had a great nights sleep and had time to relax with my coffee and loved every minute of it, I sketched 6 new stamp designs!

This little gal reminds me of the little nursery rhyme Mary Mary Quite Contrary how does you garden grow... I think she will make a really cute little springtime stamp!
