"THE SECRET GARDEN" SKETCH

One of my petsitting clients gave me a whole stack of kids clothing magazines and one in particular called, Chasing Fireflies, has the cutest clothing for little girls I got SO inspired by all the cute little ruffled fall jackets and boots and leggings and berets that I pieced all together and what came out was Mary from The Secret Garden. I had so much fun drawing this!

There are so many versions but the one that came out in the early 90's is such a magical version of this story and very well done with Kate Maberley and Maggie Smith. The whole cast is really wonderful, I highly recommend it!
