"GLINDA THE GOOD WITCH" DIGITAL STAMP SKETCH

Happy Monday, everyone! I have had so many witches flying around in my sketchbook over the last week, all of them good and one that you might recognize just floated in from her big pink bubble...

Glinda the Good Witch of the North from the Wizard of Oz, at least here is my interpretation of her!

I was looking at a book that my Dad gave me in 1990, the other day. It is the entire script of the Wizard of Oz along with movie photographs, one of my all time favorite books and my Dad signed it and gave it to me for Christmas that year. He's not with us anymore but I felt like he was enjoying the words and pictures right along with me.

That was one of our favorite movies to watch together when I was growing up and never missed it when it used to only be aired on tv at Easter. I cant even count how many times I've seen it! And I think that's why "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" is one of my favorite songs because it always makes me think of my Dad:)

NEW "ASHLEY THE AUTUMN SPRITE" DIGITAL STAMP NOW AVAILABLE!

Little "Ashley the Autumn Sprite" is now available at my Etsy shop! I had so much fun with her this week, maybe she needs a sister? Anyway I hope you enjoy her as much as I enjoyed creating her.

I will be working on my new Good Witch image next and have some other happy little witches flying around in my sketchbook too, if I can catch them!:)

THE GOOD WITCH DIGITAL STAMP SKETCH

Dont you just love this time of year? I sure do. The Halloween and fall decorations are all over the stores now and starting to show up on doorsteps and front yards everywhere, I love it!

I wanted to draw some witches for Halloween but no ugly bad witches showed up in the pages of my sketchbook this week, only good ones!

This little witch only casts happy spells on people:) I havent thought of a name for her yet so after she is inked I may have another name the stamp contest. I think that would be fun, dont you? Happy Halloween!

DIGITAL STAMP SKETCH - ASHLEY THE AUTUMN SPRITE

Here is a little sketch for my next digital stamp called, "Ashley, the Autumn Sprite." She started in my notebook and I fell in love with her and cut her out and taped her into my sketchbook so I could finish her dress and thought she needed a little beret made from an acorn top:)

I'm excited about her and having time to create in my work schedule again. Its nice and cool this week and is inspiring me to create lots of Halloween and fall images and I've added the soundtrack to the Lord of the Rings to my playlist and its giving me lots of inspiration for fairies and goddesses and fairy tale characters:)

NEW "AUTUMN MOON VENUS" DIGITAL STAMP NOW AVAILABLE

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope your weekend was wonderful. I am so happy that I finally finished my new "Autumn Moon Venus" digital stamp, she is now available at my Etsy shop.It felt so amazing to be creating again, its been forever.

I hope you enjoy her as much as I do. I love this time of year, its so much cooler and it feels like fall almost and it makes me think of Autumn fairies and pumpkins and magical things to create for Halloween!

AUTUMN VENUS IMAGE - SNEEK PEEK

I wanted to share a little "sneek peek" of my Autumn Moon Venus image with you, I am so excited about this one! She was inspired by Botticelli's "Birth of Venus" painting, one of my all time favorites.

Its been weeks since I've had the time to sit and play at my drawing table and I had the whole day today to ink, it was awesome!

I still have some cleanup to do but I wanted to share this with you anyway:) She should be available at my Etsy Shop tomorrow so I'll keep you posted!

I've also drawn a cute little sprite called, Ashely the Autumn Sprite that I think you might like, too! Hope you are all having a wonderful and creative weekend so far!
