Happy Monday everyone! I finally got a little "me" time in this morning and had a little creative time to myself! It felt so good! I was thinking ahead to the new year and what new sketches, ideas and fun things I would like to do with my art! One of them is new Valentines Day stamp images! I have been drawing Kissing Couples and hearts all over my sketchbook lately so I think I may have to work on a Valentines image soon!:)

POCAHONTAS SKETCH

Happy Thursday, everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful week and are getting ready for the big day!!:)

I drew this sketch of Pocahontas a few days ago and have been wanting to do an image of her. I think it would be a great piece, with a message of strength to go along with it.

I went to the bank today and they always have daily quotes and this one was posted today, it was a quote from Pocahontas!!:) So that made me realize I needed to make this post even more! Here is her quote, I hope you enjoy it!!:

NEW MERMAID SKETCH

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Cant believe that Christmas is only a little over two weeks away! I know we are all feeling a little extra stress this time of year so I am making sure that I get at least some "me" time in each day! I have to at least find a little time to sketch everyday even if its just for 5 minutes. I had the most wonderful sketch pop up in my sketchbook this morning. It was very early and quiet, usually the perfect time for wonderful things to happen!!:)

This little mermaid showed up on the page this morning, out of nowhere and I am really loving her and cant wait to make her into a stamp! I think she will make a cute one! I dont have a name for her yet, so maybe a name that mermaid stamp might be fun!!:)

Hope you are all getting your well deserved creative time in today, its so important!!
