BOTTICELLI AUTUMN VENUS DIGITAL STAMP SKETCH

Hi everyone, happy Friday! I have finally had some free time to sit and visit with my blog, it feels so good to make a post again! My petsitting business is in summer full swing and has been crazy, which is good for me financially but not creatively! I havent had much time to draw in my new sketchbook but I wanted to share my new Autumn Moon Venus sketch with you all.

This image is based on Botticelli's "Birth of Venus" one of my all time favorite paintings. I made her nose a little narrower and gave her just a slight smile and added a moon behind her. I thought this would make really pretty Autumn digital stamp image. What do you think?

AN INSPIRING POST FOR EVERYONE

I came across this post from a blog that I follow called A Storybook Life and found a post from April that I just had to share, it will inspire you, I guarantee it!

If you think you have no gifts and nothing to share with the world, think again, because we all do. Please check out this post and especially this wonderful video of a woman who is making a difference with her creativity. Enjoy!

CHRISTMAS FAIRY DIGITAL STAMP SKETCH

I am loving Christmas in July so much and picturing snow instead of the hot sun on my lawn (even though we dont get snow in CA, I can dream cant I?:))

I thought this little fairy would be a nice edition to the Christmas fairies this month as a new digital stamp. She needs a proper name so I think I will be needing your help with another Name the Fairy contest so put on your thinking caps!

Hope you like her, I think she will be a special one when she's all inked up:)

Merry Christmas in July!
