WELCOME TO OUR BLOG HOP!!

WELCOME TO OUR "WISHING STAR ANGEL" BLOG HOP!!:) I hope you all enjoy our wonderful blog hop and beautiful creations along the way! Our participants used my "Wishing Star Angel" image to create a card and were to make a special wish for someone other than themselves. Have fun!:)

Here is Ileana's beautiful entry to our blog hop, I'm posting her's here since Ileana doesnt have a blog yet. Please enjoy her wonderful and heartfelt wish for her daughter and her amazing entry with my "Wishing Star Angel!"

I have a 10 y-o daughter and, because life is not always easy, I don´t have her with me all year round but the summers, when she finishes school she comes here to spend 3 months with me. I miss her terribly, more than I can say, but we spend the most beautiful months together every year and I´m so grateful to life I can do it. My thoughts are always with her and on this special time of the year my wish is for her:
"I wish her to remain as brave, caring and nice as she is now; brave so she can conquer all difficulties, caring so she doesn´t forget about other people needs and act consecuently, and nice because if she is a nice person (not only with people but also with life, nature, etc) she´ll get that in return."

Thank you so much Ileana for a beautiful wish for your daughter, you are an amazing woman! And thank you for such a gorgeous card! Its an amazing piece of art, Ileana!:)

PRINCESS LOTUS SKETCH

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and got to spend some time with your loved ones this weekend and had some time for you and your creativity as well!

My Thanksgiving was great and as always a little hectic but today I am taking full advantage of my "ME" time and finding my inner creative goddesss! Speaking of goddesses, I drew a new goddess this morning called "Princess Lotus" who I think will make a lovely digital stamp!:) I think she was inspired by all of the yoga I have been doing lately and how centered I feel when I'm practicing. Now that my knee is healing and I'm back to working out I am even more balanced in my life again. It feels so good!!:)

Hope you enjoy my new goddess and find some time for yourself to feel your own balance during this time of year! Have a beautiful day everyone!:)

SLEEPYTIME ANGEL SKETCH

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you are all getting your creative time in somewhere this weekend! I know its a terribly busy time of year for all of us!

I was sketching in my jammies this morning, one of my favorite activities, and was inspired by a little angel on my shelf. I still have a ceramic light switch cover from my room when I was a baby. It is one of my most cherished items. It has a little praying angel in the clouds with a gold halo and has become my own little guardian angel over the years and is a special keepsake from the house where I grew up in Massachusetts.

I drew my new little "Sleepytime Angel" and will be inking her today as a new digital stamp design!

Do you guys still have anything special keepsakes from your childhood ? Dolls? blankets? toys? I'd love to hear all about them!:)

NEW DIGITAL STAMP MERMAID NOW AVAILABLE!

"Song of the Sea" is now available on my Etsy shop! I'm loving creating my new mermaids lately! I think its because I have been back to walking down to the beach alot more now that my knee is healed! Yay!

When I orginally designed this image I was really into harp music and thought about taking lessons. There is a huge harp store in LA that gives harp lessons on the giant ones, I thought it would be so cool to learn and to play one! But until then, I have my Spa channel on siruis radio, they play lots of harp music to inspire me!:)

Hope you like her! She is now available and is waiting to play a song for you! :)
